A van fire caused delays for drivers on the M90 near Bridge of Earn on Friday afternoon.
Three fire crews were called to the incident on the southbound carriageway after the alarm was raised just before 5.30pm.
Two crews from Perth were sent to the scene alongside officers from Auchterarder.
The incident caused queues on the motorway back towards Craigend.
A picture from the scene showed smoke billowing from the vehicle with the inside lane blocked.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed crews received the first call at 5.23pm.
She said: “Appliances from Perth and Auchterarder were dispatched following reports of a van on fire.
“Crews used one hose reel jet and a main hose reel jet at the scene.
“The stop message came in at 5.58pm.”
