Dutch yacht hits rocks at Arbroath

The Arbroath lifeboat was called out to attend to a stricken Dutch yacht that had become lodged on rocks near the town harbour on Tuesday afternoon.

The unfortunate mariner had approached the harbour from the wrong direction and was caught out by the ebbing tide.

Volunteers secured the boat, which was left beached until high tide.
