A blaze at the Old Pavilion in Baxter Park, Dundee, was tackled by firefighters on Thursday night.
Two crews used a hosereel jet and two sets of breathing apparatus as they battled to put out the flames before gaining entry to the building.
It is understood the blaze, which broke out in the old public bowling pavilion at around 9pm, had been extinguished within an hour, but firefighters remained at the scene to dampen down the area.
A Scottish Fire Service spokesman said: “Crews attended a fire at a single-storey building or pavilion on the south side of the park and used one hosereel jet.”
It was not immediately clear what had caused the blaze.
