The Courier hosted a special debate on the Dundee biomass plant plan on Wednesday evening
The debate was held at the Gardyne Theatre in Dundee in front of an audience of around 350 Courier readers.

Our chairman for the evening was Courier deputy editor Steve Bargeton, and our panel comprised Andrew Watterson of Stirling University, Bob Adam of Residents Against Tay Turbines, former lord provost John Letford, Sandra Burke of Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce, Calum Wilson, the managing director of project backers Forth Energy, environmental technology scientist Dr Joseph Akunna and Friends of the Earth Tayside co-ordinator Andrew Llanwarne.
