Blacklisted trade unionists will lobby Dundee councillors over the selection of BAM Construction Ltd as the builder of the city’s V&A museum.
Dozens of people are expected to attend the city centre event on Monday evening, which has been organised by banned electricians.
BAM is in negotiations with the city council to build the V&A at Dundee, having been named as the preferred contractor in September.
But trade unionists, as well as Labour councillors, have alleged the firm was involved in blacklisting union employees through a company called The Consulting Association (TCA).
BAM Scotland have denied they were ever involved in the practice, which involves barring trade unionists from work, and that the use of the TCA across the rest of the UK ended in 1998.
Mike Arnott, Dundee Trades Union Council Secretary, is one of those supporting the event.
He said: “We want to remind councillors that we are still here. This will be a further shot across the bows for them.
“While BAM has been selected as the preferred contractor, there is still time and we will show the council that we are not going anywhere.”
The lobbying event will take place as councillors meet for committee meetings at 6pm.
