ByMichael Alexander
Police in Dunfermline are becoming increasingly worried about a local woman who has been missing since Monday.
Carol-Anne Taggart, who is 54 years old, was last seen at around 1am on Monday at her home in Dunfermline. She’s known to drive a Vauxhall Antara with registration CA02 TAG
Following assistance from members of the public, police confirmed last night that Carol-Ann’s vehicle was found in the Baldridgeburn area in Dunfermline on the evening of Christmas Day.
Sergeant Brian Henderson said: “I am appealing to the local community to view the photograph of Mrs Taggart which we have put up on the Fife Division social media channels, and contact 101 if they have seen her or know her whereabouts.”
She is described as 5ft 6in tall, with shoulder length dark hair and glasses. It’s believed she was wearing a blue tracksuit with black and pink North Face jacket.
