A judge was taken to hospital after being trampled by a cow at the Fife Show near Cupar on Saturday.
Police said the man was admitted to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee after suffering what were described as minor injuries to his back.
A police spokesman said he was expected to make a full recovery.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed they had taken a man to Ninewells at around 10am.
“We were told he had possibly been trampled by a bull but could not confirm this. He was not extremely injured.”
No further information was available.
The sun shone as thousands attended the show at Kinloss Farm, just outside Cupar.
Highlights included the parade of vintage of tractors, the parade of livestock and displays of carriage driving.
Other attractions include an education tent, and a cookery marquee featuring cooks and produce from all over Fife. Local rural businesses are also given the opportunity to promote themselves as well as hosting producers from Fife Farmers Market and the Made in Fife Crafts group.
