Feus Road is closed between junctions with Church Street and Longcauseway due to the dangerous tree.
Motorists in Perth were forced to take a detour after a dangerous tree forced a road closure.
Feus Road was closed from Church Street to its junction with Longcauseway while the tree was removed.
A Perth and Kinross Council spokeswoman said: “Feus Road in Perth is being closed today to allow removal of a dangerous tree. Sorry for any inconvenience – it will be reopened as soon as possible once the tree’s away.
“The diversion route during the closure is Riggs Road, Glasgow Road, Caledonian Road, Dunkeld Road and Crieff Road.”
