ByKirsty McIntosh
Perth citizens are calling for a permanent tribute to St Johnstone’s historic cup final win.
Among the suggestions put forward is renaming the Broxden Roundabout, which had its grouse statue adorned with a blue and white hat and scarf ahead of the game.
Other suggestions include naming a street in honour of Tommy Wright’s men, with St Johnstone Avenue or St Johnstone Parade proposed.Would you back a tribute? Comment below or email perth@thecourier.co.ukA third option could be artwork in the form of a sculpture or mural.
Councillor Alexander Stewart said he would be bringing up the matter with council bosses.
