Oor Wullie and gnome pals taken into police custody

Three men are helping police with their enquiries after officers found a van full of garden gnomes and an Oor Wullie.
Police say the van contained 33 gnomes and other garden ornaments, including a model of Scotland’s favourite schoolboy.
It is thought they were taken from a variety of addresses in the Aberdeenshire area overnight between Wednesday and Thursday.Your Wullie, oor Wullie or a’body’s Wullie? If you know his owner, please email online@thecourier.co.ukThe van was stopped in the Banff area in the early morning of Thursday.
Police are now trying to reunite the gnomes with their owners. They can be contacted on 101.
