Darren O'Dea and Paul Hartley in their Celtic days. Dundee are reported to be closing in on the signing of former Celtic defender Darren O’Dea. The Republic of Ireland international has been playing in India with Mumbai City following spells with Blackpool, Leeds United and Ipswich Town. O’Dea (28) has has been capped 20 times at senior level and was a team-mate of Dark Blues’ manager Paul Hartley at Parkhead. Hartley is looking to sign a centre-back as a result of James McPake’s season-ending knee injury and Julen Etxabeguren’s lay-off with an eye problem.
