Dundee face anxious wait for news on Greg Stewart injury
ByNeil Robertson
Dundee are still sweating over the full extent of Greg Stewart’s ankle injury.
The striker had to be substituted during the first-half of Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Motherwell following a late challenge by the Steelmen’s Louis Moult which earned him a yellow card.
Dark Blues boss Paul Hartley believes teams are now setting out to deliberately stop star man Stewart with the manager issuing a post-match plea to officials asking for more protection for his player.
However, for the moment, he is anxiously awaiting news on how long he could be out for.
Hartley said: “We need to let it settle down first. We will know more within the next 24 hours.”
