Dundee take a look at former Kilmarnock midfielder Danny Racchi

Dundee boss John Brown is running the rule over former Kilmarnock player Danny Racchi.

The 26-year-old midfielder, who has been playing with Icelandic side Valur, has trained with the Dark Blues squad this week in a bid to impress and secure a return to Scotland.

Brown has already added Stephen Hughes, Christian Nade and on-loan Motherwell defender Adam Cummins during this transfer window and has made no secret of his desire to bring others in to boost Dundee’s promotion push.

Racchi left Kilmarnock at the end of last season and has also previously had spells with Huddersfield, Bury and York City.
