Dundee United have re-signed midfielder Morgaro Gomis.
The 28-year-old Frenchman, who was part of the United side who won the Scottish Cup in 2010, left Tannadice for Birmingham at the end of the following season but has been back training with his former club in recent weeks following his release from St Andrew’s.
Boss Jackie McNamara was suitably impressed with Gomis in bounce games and has now managed to secure his services on a contract until the end of the season.
Gomis’ former team-mate Prince Buaben has also been training with United in recent days in an attempt to win a deal at Tannadice.
The 28-year-old has returned to Tannadice following a spell down south with Birmingham City.
The Senegalese internation made 150 appearances for United during his first spell at the club and was part of the 2010 Scottish Cup winning side.
