Dunfermline interested in Cowdenbeath striker Kane Hemmings
ByThe Courier Reporter
Dunfermline are the latest club to show an interest in Cowdenbeath striker Kane Hemmings.
Dundee, Hibs, Kilmarnock and Blackburn Rovers are all understood to have the former Rangers frontman on their radar after his impressive season for the Central Park side.
Hemmings’ 16 goals have earned him a player of the year nomination. The 23-year-old is out of contract in the summer.
For the Pars to have any hope of getting their man they would need to win promotion to the Championship through the end of season play-offs, while Dundee’s hand would be strengthened if they could get themselves into the Premiership.
The Dark Blues have already signed Hemmings’ Cowdenbeath strike-partner Greg Stewart on a pre-contract agreement.
