Arbroath boss Todd Lumsden reckons that his Gayfield side will be an exciting outfit next season after securing the services of Dundee attacker Jamie Reid on a one-year deal.
The 21 year old, who scored for the Dark Blues on his debut back in 2012 in a 1-0 win over Livingston, spent last season on loan at Stenhousemuir and then Elgin City.
Lumsden said: “I am really pleased to get Jamie in. I am sure that having both Jamie and Bobby taking the game to the opposition will make Arbroath a very exciting side.”
Brechin manager Ray McKinnon has re-signed three of last season’s squad that took City men into the League One promotion play-offs.
Defenders Paul McLean and Darren McCormack have signed on, with striker Andy Jackson also committing himself to a fourth season at the Glebe Park.
Montrose play-off hero Garry Wood has told the club that he is leaving them just a few days after his wonder goal helped keep the Gable Endies in senior football.
The striker slammed a 30-yard shot home against Brora Rangers at the weekend to see off the Highland League champions 3-2 on aggregate.
However, he has opted to leave Links Park for nthe Highland League.
Wood said: “It was good to be able to leave on such a high.”
