Passengers injured in emergency evacuation at Glasgow Airport

Four people have been taken to hospital after a plane was evacuated shortly before take-off at Glasgow Airport this morning.
Passengers left the Jet2 aircraft using inflatable chutes after smoke was detected in the cabin.
The incident happened on the 737 plane bound for Alicante in Spain at about 7.40am today.
Strathclyde Police said four people had been taken to hospital and 13 people had received medical treatment at the scene.
