Firefighters were called to the Hilltown where motorists were struggling to get up the hill and cars were spinning on the Ladywell Roundabout. Thankfully there were no serious accidents as a result of the engine leak from a number 33 National Express bus. Fire crews used jets to spray the diesel and Dundee City Council contractors Tayside Contracts gritted the route after the 7.15pm incident. For more on this story see Saturday’s Courier.
