Five appliances were sent to Pittendynie Farm, Moneydie after the alarm was raised at around 9.30pm on Tuesday. The steel framed hay shed was storing around 300 round bales and one mechanical excavator. Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control by just before 7am. Crews remain on scene to monitor the fire ground and carry out damping down operations.
