Police and the Broughty Ferry Lifeboats raced to the Tay Road Bridge after concerns were raised for a woman. Officers were called to the bridge shortly after 3pm and the woman was traced safe and well. A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We got a call at 3.10pm following concern for a woman on the Tay Bridge. “We have attended and traced her safe and well. We are currently making further enquiries.” The Broughty Ferry Lifeboats were alerted but were stood down after police traced the woman.
