Keep or shave? our Beards for Bairns fundraisers can take it on the chin

Christmas. Seems a long time ago now, doesn’t it?

Well spare a thought for the families of this Courier rogues gallery who have had to watch their men shun the shaver ever since Santa packed up for another year.Members of our staff joined hundreds of others taking part in the ARCHIE Appeal’s Beards for Bairns fundraiser.The challenge was to resist the razor from Christmas Day until Burns Night, and this was the grisly result.The Courier was delighted to support the Beards for Bairns effort which is well on the way to raising thousands of pounds for the appeal to transform the children’s ward at Ninewells Hospital.And, the truth is some of us have become quite fond of our facial fuzz.
