Scottish independent dairy group Graham’s is expanding its relationship with supermarket Morrisons.
The Bridge of Allan based dairy will start supplying the chain with its own-brand butter and milk products from next month.
The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
The boost comes on the back of Graham’s block butter recently overtaking a rival overseas brand as Scotland’s best-selling product.
The family farming and dairy business has also established itself as a top 10 Scottish brand, ranking 7th in the latest Kantar Worldpanel research of the most popular take-home food and non-alcoholic drink brands.
“Graham’s The Family Dairy works in partnership with more than 90 farmers, so our extended relationship with Morrisons guarantees that more consumers have access to milk and butter products from Scotland,” managing director Robert Graham said.
David Gardner, Morrisons’ managing director for Scotland, said: “With the Scottish dairy industry facing challenging times, this is great news for the sector and reaffirms our support for Scottish food and drink.”
Graham’s produces more than 700,000 pints of milk daily and supplies all of the major UK multiples.
