Motorists warned of major roadworks near St Michaels

Drivers using one of Fife’s busiest commuter routes could face up to six weeks of delays.
Resurfacing work on the A914 between the Forgan Roundabout and St Michaels will start later this month and could run into April.
A structural renewal of the existing road is required, meaning a convoy system operating under traffic lights will be in place for drivers travelling from the north.
However, traffic heading from the south will be diverted via a one-way loop on the C12 Rose Acres Road, from the north of St Michaels to the Five Roads Roundabout.
Bus users, particularly those living at Drumoig, are being advised to allow extra time for their journey, with all residents living within the works area required to use the one-way loop for safety reasons.
Work will begin at 8pm on Sunday February 22 and will be conducted overnight for the first week, before reverting to normal working hours.
