Cyclists are being urged to saddle up for charity at this year’s cyclathon in Dundee.
The event, organised by Claverhouse Rotary Club, is being held to raise funds for Cash for Kids, although entrants can choose a cause of their own.
Last year more than 600 people took part and more than £35,000 of sponsorship was raised for local charities.
The cyclathon, which takes place on September 12, starts at Camperdown Park and will be launched by Lord Provost John Letford.
Entrants will pedal 26 miles of Dundee’s Green Circular Route and will have access to cycle repair facilities and a free bike safety check courtesy of Nicholson’s Cycles.
There will also be a Red Cross presence.
Tickets cost £8 each, £15 for families and £25 for teams.
