Perth Youth Theatre set to welcome new season recruits

Young people in Perth and Kinross with an interest in theatre, of all levels of experience, are being invited to apply for the 2010 to 2011 season at Perth Youth Theatre.
One of Scotland’s leading youth theatres, the company is one of the few that starts afresh every year with recruitment workshops for members new and old.
Sessions for young playwrights and performers run weekly from October to the end of June, introducing participants aged 12 to 25 to a wide variety of theatre skills from scriptwriting to acting and directing.
The year culminates in the annual Perth Youth Theatre Festival in June, which sees the youngsters showcase their talents in Perth Theatre for a month.
