Brightsolid’s Chris van der Kuyl has been announced as the host of the upcoming North East of North (NEoN) international digital arts festival.
Chief executive Mr van der Kuyl has been invited back after welcoming visitors to last year’s festival in Dundee. Mr van der Kuyl, who is in charge of the online innovation company responsible for social network Friends Reunited and the family history brand Genes Reunited, is also one of the key speakers at the conference.
He will share his experiences and interest in for the development of creative interactive technologies, businesses and the arts at the festival, which will explore the collaboration between visual art, information communication, media production and gaming.
Augmented reality specialist James Alliban, managing director of Revolver PR Iain S Bruce, and business development manager at Adobe Neils Stevens will also deliver talks at the conference.
Mr Bruce said, “I am thrilled to be involved in this year’s NEoN festival. In addition to presenting at the session, I am looking forward to answering any questions and listening to the discussion which unfolds, not to mention visiting some of the innovative exhibitions and interesting speakers appearing at NEoN.”The conference will take place on November 11″“12 at Abertay University.
