A Fife hotel which is preparing to mark its 25th anniversary has issued an appeal for help in finding couples who had their wedding receptions there.
The Kingswood Hotel in Burntisland is planning to celebrate the milestone in a variety of ways this year and wants to hear from any couple who enjoyed their receptions at the venue in the last quarter of a century.
Anyone who fits the bill is asked to send the hotel a photo of their wedding, the date and their contact details and each entrant will have their name entered into a prize draw to be made on May 12 the actual 25th anniversary date.
“We just thought it would be a nice, fun thing to do, generate a bit of interest, and something fairly lighthearted amid the doom and gloom,” explained co-owner Kathryn Bell.
“I think 25th anniversaries are quite a rare occurrence within the hospitality industry, or indeed any industry nowadays, we’re doing inhouse documentation of the 25th anniversary and we thought it would be something good to hear from anyone who had their wedding here in those 25 years.”
The winner of the draw will receive dinner, overnight accommodation and breakfast.
