ByNews reporter
Knockhill Racing Circuit is mourning the death of a long-serving member of the team.
Chief track marshal Wullie Brown (50) passed away suddenly last week. Mr Brown, who came from Dunfermline, was the controller for all car, bike and corporate activity events at Knockhill for almost a decade.
A spokesman from Knockhill said he was a great motorcycle racing enthusiast, an integral part of the team, a real trojan, and would do anything, any time, for anyone.
As someone who always had a smile on his face, Mr Brown was a great people person, a friend to so many and deep down a passionate enthusiast for all things.
He will be sorely missed by all in the sport and at Knockhill, who feel they have lost a friend and a colleague.
Mr Brown’s funeral will be held at Dunfermline Crematorium on Thursday afternoon, with a get-together in tribute to him being held at the clubhouse at Knockhill afterwards.
