A woman has been left shocked after a man indecently exposed himself on the Law in broad daylight, in the second such incident in the same street in a fortnight.
The incident happened on the pathway from Law Crescent opposite Kinpurnie Place at around 1.15pm on Tuesday.
The victim spoke with a young woman in her early 20s who was nearby shortly after the incident and officers are keen to speak to her.
She is described as having dark brown hair which was tied back and she said she was from the Lochee area.
Just two weeks ago another woman was left alarmed after a man exposed himself to her on the stretch between Campbell Street and Kinpirnie Place.
The man fled the scene in a silver estate car immediately after the incident at about 6.35pm on Tuesday March 13. The victim was unhurt but was left shocked and contacted police after returning home.
Inspector Alistair Black said: ”There’s nothing concrete at the moment to link the two crimes other than where they took place, but we can’t rule out the possibility that they were committed by the same person.
”We can’t be certain either way but both crimes were committed in the same area and it may also be the case that these are not the only two incidents to have taken place.
”If there have been other similar incidents which have not been reported we would urge any members of the public to let us know about them.
”Our inquiries are continuing around the area and we would appeal for anyone with any information to get in touch.”
The man in Tuesday’s incident is described as being in his early 50s, approximately 5ft 7in and of slim build, with grey, cropped hair, wearing grey jogging bottoms and a grey top.
In the previous incident the man was described as being between 40-44, of medium build and around 6ft 2ins. He has short, dark brown hair and was wearing a dark T-shirt and dark blue jeans.
