Police appeal after Saturday night attacks in Dundee

A woman was assaulted and robbed of her purse on Saturday night in Whitfield Terrace.
The incident occurred between 7 and 7.30pm as the woman left a nearby shop.
Police say they are keen to speak to anyone who saw a male aged late teens to early 20s, 5ft 5in tall, wearing blue and white tracksuit bottoms, a navy blue tracksuit top and navy blue cap with orange badge.
Police in Dundee are also appealing for witnesses to an attack on a young male student in Hawkhill, near to Blackness Primary School about 7.50pm on Saturday.
The student was pushing a bicycle along the pavement when a man attacked him and punched him about his face and head.
The attacker is described as between 28 and 34, with light coloured short cropped hair, slim build and about six feet in height, wearing a green zip jacket, pale blue jeans and light coloured trainers.
He appeared to be heavily intoxicated and was last seen walking towards Peddie Street.
At the time, the area was busy with pedestrians and passing vehicles and police are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed the attack to contact them on 0300 111 2222 or speak to any officer.
