Smiles on faces at Webster Theatre as fans snap up Kevin Bridges tickets

Tickets for Kevin Bridges’ warm-up dates in Arbroath have sold out shortly after going on sale.
The £20 briefs for the Webster Theatre appearances went on sale on Tuesday and the Ticketweb allocation quickly sold out, with no online tickets left for either performance.
The remaining tickets were snapped up at the box office on Wednesday, forcing theatre staff to put up the ”sold out” sign.
The Glasgow funnyman’s Work in Progress gigs will take place on June 4 and 5, when he will be trying out new material for his upcoming record-breaking tour.
Bridges’ autumn tour smashed box office records for opening day sales when 45,000 were sold on the first day, selling out the five-show run at the SECC in Glasgow.
The theatre’s programmer worked for months behind the scenes to lure Bridges to Angus.
A community council spokesman said: ”It’s great news for the Webster, which is going from strength to strength since its refurbishment. Everyone should be applauded for managing to attract such a big name.”
