Police are scanning CCTV images and have carried out inquiries with residents and businesses in Crieff this week in a bid to track down a pensioner who has been missing for over a week.
John Styles (77), also known as Frank, was last seen on July 11 in the town.
Since then, Tayside Police have made concerted efforts to find him, including deploying their search-and-rescue team along with Tayside Civilian Mountain Rescue.
Together, they carried out a search of the River Earn in Crieff on Wednesday using a raft to scan the river and the banks.
A police spokesman said: ”Extensive inquiries have been made in the area since Mr Styles from Perth went missing over a week ago, including localised searches and the distribution of posters and leaflets in the town urging people to come forward with information.
”Mr Styles was last seen at about 7.30am in Crieff on Wednesday July 11 when he parked his black-coloured Kia car in Gallowhill.”
He is 5ft 8in, of slim build with receding grey/white hair.
When last seen he was wearing a dark jacket, dark cord trousers, dark-coloured brogues and a blue-coloured baseball cap with white writing.
