Police are hunting a thief who stole money from a small store on Saturday.
The incident took place at around 7.45pm at the David Sands store in Oakbank Road, Perth.
The thief took money from the till and then ran off.
He is described as being about 5ft 10in and of medium build. He was wearing a black bomber-style jacket with a small white logo on the left sleeve, light blue denim jeans and light-coloured training shoes.
A police spokesman said: ”He was in the shop for a short time and removed a sum of money from the cash till before making good his escape. He was last seen running off into Oakbank Road towards Muircroft Drive.
”Police are keen to hear from anyone that saw a male matching the description in the area, bearing in mind he may have been waiting near to the shop prior to the attack and ran off afterwards towards Muircroft Drive.”
Staff did not wish to comment on the incident.
