Dunfermline FC boss not ruling out more transfer activity

Dunfermline boss Jim McIntyre says last week’s capture of Liam Buchanan may not be the last piece of business he conducts before the transfer window shuts.
And while he was frustrated that he was denied the chance to see the striker in action after the Pars’ game against Stirling Albion on Saturday was called off because of a frozen pitch, McIntyre says Buchanan will now have a chance to really settle in before facing his old club Partick at the weekend.
“Obviously we were disappointed the game was called off but we knew on Friday it was in doubt so it was not a big surprise,” he said.
“However, on the plus side it has given Liam Buchanan more time to settle in and get to know his new team-mates. He has really looked the part in training and we now look forward to seeing him in action in a Dunfermline jersey.
“I cannot say for definite whether his signing will be the last piece of business we do in the transfer window. You never know if somebody becomes available, we might be able to do something.”
