Panda Su’s end-of-tour party at Kirrie’s Bank Street Gallery

Jagged Roots Music hosts another evening of intimate acoustic music on Saturday when Kirrie’s Bank Street Gallery opens its doors to Panda Su.
The Portuguese-Scottish songstress was born in the rural Highlands and, having spent her formative years deep in the forests of Fife, she found her own voice early last year with the release of the acclaimed Sticks & Bricks EP.
She is now set to follow that up with her latest offering, I Begin.
Awarded Best Newcomer in the 2010 Jockrock Scottish Music Industry Awards, Panda Su has gained a worldwide following through a gruelling schedule of touring and is a popular attraction at festivals, while the inclusion of her song Eric is Dead in TV show Skins brought further prominence.
Panda Su will be playing songs from her new EP on Saturday as an end-of-tour party, having played the length and breadth of the UK over the past month. Advance copies of her new EP will be available at the gig.
She’s joined at Bank Street Gallery by Edinburgh’s I Build Collapsible Mountains.
Tickets are £10 from 01575 570070 and doors open at 7pm.
