Dundee boss Gordon Chisholm has told Hamilton’s Billy Reid, “Talk to me about Mickael Antoine-Curier, not the media.”
The Accies manager has repeatedly made clear his desire to keep loan striker Mickael Antoine-Curier at New Douglas Park next season.
Other than what he has read on the subject, Chisholm is in the dark and he’s not happy about that.
Last week Chisholm met Antoine-Curier who was allowed to join Accies on loan after a fall-out with ex-boss Jocky Scott and told the Guadaloupe international that he was required to return to Dundee.
However, Dundee will consider an offer from Hamilton for the player. The problem is that there’s been no approach.
“We keep hearing that Hamilton want Mickael for next season, but we’ve not heard a single thing from them,” said Chisholm.
“And I don’t like reading this stuff in the papers about one of our players.
“If Billy wants him then he can pick up the phone to me rather than try to conduct business through the press.
“It’s not fair on the lad either, because it’s unsettling him. It’s not the way we conduct business.”
