Dundee FC boss Barry Smith sets Dens Park men new target

Dundee boss Barry Smith has asked his players to keep up the momentum until the curtain comes down on the season.

The Dark Blues have secured their place in the first division but now Smith wants to achieve as much as possible in the remaining two games against Partick Thistle at home on Saturday, then on the final day away to Queen of the South.

“Staying in this division has, ultimately, given us a chance to move forward as a club in a positive manner,” said Smith.

“That does not mean our season is over though.

“Now we want to finish as high up the league table as we can and if we beat Thistle on Saturday then we move above them.”
