Fintry man George Carr killed in Dundee scaffolding accident

A 67-year-old man from Fintry has been killed in a fall from scaffolding in Dundee today.

Police said George Carr died in the accident in Dudhope Terrace at around 12.10pm.

Despite the efforts of paramedics, Mr Carr died at the scene.

Police say the Health and Safety Executive has been informed and a full investigation is being carried out.
