Youngsters in an Angus youth project are revving up for their first foray into the world of international motorcycle racing.
Just a couple of years after being established to encourage teenagers into a diversionary initiative to encourage personal development and life skills, the Hedzup Racing race team is preparing to line up on the grid of the Manx GP at the end of this month.
Hedzup is a familiar sight at Knockhill and East Fortune, with pupils from Forfar and Arbroath academies and Carnoustie High working as the crew.
The 14 to 16-year-olds tackle every part of the running of the race team.
The trip will cost around £7500 in total, with main sponsor Diageo and pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline among those supporting the GP effort.
