The accident, which happened shortly before 6pm, involved a vehicle towing a horsebox. Firefighters attended at the scene, near the House of Bruar, helping to remove the victim and to make the vehicle safe. An air ambulance then took the casualty to Ninewells Hospital for treatment. The extent of her injuries was not known. The accident caused some delays for motorists heading in both directions on the A9 while the incident scene was cleared of debris.
