Police investigate alleged sex assault on boy in KFC

Police are investigating claims that a young boy was sexually assaulted in a city centre fast-food restaurant.

The attack is said to have happened at KFC in Renfield Street, Glasgow on Tuesday evening. Specialist officers are understood to be preparing to interview the boy.

CCTV footage is also being reviewed, Police Scotland said.

“We are aware of an alleged incident at KFC in Renfield Street on Tuesday night. Inquiries are being carried out to establish exactly what happened,” a force spokeswoman said.
