Two men have been arrested after a significant amount of cannabis was found by police during a search in Dunfermline. The pair, aged 26 and 19, were charged after detectives recovered the drugs from a property in Broomhead Drive on Wednesday April 6. Officers believe the cannabis has a street value of around £7,500. Detective Sergeant Kieran Marsh said: “After extensive inquiries, we recovered a substantial amount of drugs that were destined for our streets. “Thanks to the assistance of the public, we were able to prevent these drugs from being distributed throughout our communities. “I’d like to encourage members of the public to contact us if they have any information in relation to drug dealing activity. “Anyone with information can contact us via 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. “Callers can remain anonymous and calls will be treated in the strictest confidence.
