Hutchins still has faith in Stars to reach play-offs By The Courier Reporter February 4 2015, 9:00am February 4 2015, 9:00am Share Hutchins still has faith in Stars to reach play-offs Share via Facebook Twitter Linkedin Whatsapp Messenger Email Post link https://wpcluster.dctdigital.com/thecourier/sport/other-sports/119134/hutchins-stillhas-faith-in-stars-to-reach-play-offs/ Copy Link Dundee Stars head coach Jeff Hutchins believes his side can still qualify for the end-of-season play-offs. He makes the claim despite a depressing weekend which saw a 6-0 defeat at Sheffield Steelers and a 3-1 home reverse against Braehead Clan. Hutchins said: “We ran into a really good team in Sheffield but we had chances and didn’t capitalise. “We picked up the tempo (against Braehead) and played pretty well. “Their goaltender played well and we hit three posts. “The signs are there and if we had been able to play 10 minutes longer (against Braehead) then it could have been different.” Hutchins added: “We need to take the positives out of this and, hopefully, next weekend we’ll have a full line-up for the first time in two months.”
