Crimewatch will run an appeal to the public for help catching the killer of the 80-year-old in her home near Forteviot over three weeks ago. A reconstruction will be carried out and interviews filmed with key players in the investigation ahead of the show screening on Tuesday at 9pm. It is hoped the exposure will be the key that unlocks the case, which has seen 80 officers work to track down the pensioner’s attacker. The police have asked for anyone with information that could assist the investigation to contact them immediately. People can call the dedicated hotline, 01738 892925, or the non-emergency number, 0300 111 2222, or speak to any officer. Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously via Crimestoppers who are offering a £10,000 reward for information.
