A pensioner killed in a car smash in Kinross-shire has been named by police.
David Campbell had been driving a red Ford Ka when it collided with a silver Renault Megane on the A977 at Blairingone on February 17.
The 90-year-old was taken to hospital but his condition deteriorated and he died on Saturday.
Yesterday the family of Mr Campbell, of Powmill, said he would be “greatly missed” but were too upset to comment further.
A man and a woman who were also involved in the crash, which happened at around 4.30pm, suffered minor injuries.
A police spokeswoman said: “Enquiries into the full set of circumstances of the incident are ongoing and Tayside Police would appeal for anyone who may have information that could assist officers with their enquiries to contact Tayside Police on 101.”
A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
