Police are investigating a “road rage” incident at the weekend in which a man was assaulted on the M90 outside Perth as children in the attacker’s car looked on.
A man driving a grey Vauxhall Astra which had a woman and two young children in it leapt from his car and attacked a van driver near the Broxden roundabout at about 6pm on Sunday.
Details of the incident were only released by Tayside Police on Monday evening.
The driver of the grey Ford Transit Connect van was pulled from his vehicle and assaulted by the Astra driver. The car had been seen tailgating the van at up to 70mph before the attack.
After the incident, the Astra headed into Perth and was last seen in the Oakbank area.
The suspect is about 5ft 10in, of medium to heavy build, with short brown hair and he was wearing a blue T-shirt and three-quarter-length khaki trousers.
