A Castle Huntly inmate has absconded after going on a shopping trip to Edinburgh. Police say 47-year-old Kenneth Tait was last seen in the Craigleith Retail Park in Edinburgh at 7pm on Wednesday. He was jailed for over six years in 2011 after conning vulnerable women out of over £155,000. One victim even agreed to sell her home under extreme pressure from him. Tait, from Manchester, was sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh after admitting carrying out three frauds and a theft. He is 6ft 3in, of thin build, with short thinning grey hair and a fair complexion. He is believed to be wearing a red jacket.
