A motorcyclist and a car were involved in a collision near to the Tibbermore junction at around 2.30pm on Friday. The accident has closed the northbound carriageway while emergency services work at the scene. It’s understood that one casualty may have sustained a back injury. One lane northbound re-openedaround 3.30pm. Motorists are being urged to approach with caution.
