Motorcyclist injured after falling from bike at Broxden roundabout

A motorcyclist has been treated for injuries sustained after falling from their bike at the Broxden Roundabout.

Paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service were called to the scene on the outskirts of Perth at around 11am.

It was initially understood that a lorry had also been involved, so appliances from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance, although they were later stood down.

The incident affected both the northbound and southbound lanes of the A9, causing delays for motorists.
