Traffic was halted while firefighters tackled the fire on the carriageway from Edinburgh, just short of the roundabout. The incident was reported at around 1.45pm and firefighters used breathing apparatus and hose reels to extinguish the fire. The firefighters were also required to clear oil and water from the roadway after the incident.
